Imagine my shock to turn on the television and see that former President Ronald Reagan has passed away. He was a good president and his passing is a sad thing for us.

The eighties were a hard time for the United States, economically. Unemployment was some of the highest since the Great Depression. Though his political enemies would say otherwise, Reagan's tough policies set us up for the turn around. Reagan was also instrumental in the relatively safe dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Good-bye, Mr. Reagan. We will miss you.
